It's just about that time...
Well, almost about that time. The weather in Houston is a bit cold today and since I had some down time between Latism and going back to work, I decided to go ahead and do some pre-planning for the annual Holiday Blog Tour!
I started this tradition here last year and while planning it during the final semester of grad school was not the best idea I've had, putting it all together and seeing people discover new writers was. This is how it worked last year.
This year, however, I wanted to do something different! I wanted other artists to be able to participate. So this year, I'm opening it up to other artists who wanted to share their photography or music around the holidays.
This is becoming a tradition for me because I love the idea of readers discovering new talent. The big names of the world will always get recognition but the working artists and writers have to work harder to get their art in front of people. This is a way we can help each other out and have readers/listeners/art lovers enjoy something new from their favorites and discover something they didn't think existed and didn't know they loved.
So, if you're an artist or writer and you'd like to participate fill out the form below (don't forget to scroll down). If you did the tour last year and want to do it again, by all means throw your hat in the ring again. You have until Nov. 10. Tour dates will be announced and tour participants will learn their fate on Nov. 12. The Tour begins on Dec. 3.
